
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Local filmmakers for the new horror movie “The Twin” are hosting a screening and Q&A in Shreveport, where the film was made.
On July 10, the historic Strand Theatre will be hosting a red carpet premiere for the horror film, The Twin, a film born in the city of Shreveport.
The Twin screenplay was co-written by J.C. Doler, Paul Petersen, and is based on a story by Doler, Taylor Bracewell, and Chris Alan Evans. It is inspired by Irish folklore.
The film was born as a top 20 finalist at the 2016 Louisiana Film Prize. Originally titled Hangman, the project has grown into a feature that exemplifies Shreveport’s rebirth as a place for independent film to flourish again.
